DALLMAN PONDERING SUPERETTAN CHANCE
EXTRA TIME
CHAD WINGER - Wednesday, June 27, 2007
Out-of-contract midfielder Matthew Dallman is weighing Swedish options after Danish club FC Nordsjaelland stalled in offering the youngster a renewal of a short-term deal signed over the winter.

Dallman, who was unable to turn out for the Superliga club due to player registration issues, has completed a successful trial with Superettan team Bunkeflo IF and will now take time to decide his next move.

"We know the club very well and sent him there for a quick trial," Dallman's agent Tobias Schade told YA. "They were very impressed by him and wanted to talk about a contract after his first training, but we will wait and see how he does during the next few sessions."

"There are also other options, including a first division team in Sweden where he can go, so there's no need to rush things. I am pretty optimistic about his future."

Dallman signed a four-month deal with FC Nordsjaelland in March to rejoin University of Portland teammate Heath Pearce and has previously trialed with Bolton Wanderers and Bayern Munich II.
