RECAPS
EXTRA TIME
Monday, March 26, 2007
Heath Pearce was scratched for the United States' 3-1 victory over Ecuador on Sunday when he woke up with a sore foot, YA has learned.

With another international match awaiting the Americans on Wednesday, Pearce is set to see a doctor to determine the extent of the injury.

"He has experienced problems with his foot, and he is scheduled to see a doctor," US Soccer press officer Michael Kammerman told YA.

Whether or not Pearce will be available for the midweek matchup is still up in the air.

"We won't know any more until he sees a doctor," Kammerman added.

Though not originally scheduled to start versus Ecuador, the FC Nordsjælland left back was part of the game day roster.

The US will meet Guatemala for their second friendly match-up in three days in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday evening.
