1860 Munich forward Josh Wolff has been sent to the sidelines by a bum abductor muscle, but the club are crossing their fingers that he will be able to return by next weekend.
The US international, who hobbled off near the hour mark of a weekend win over Eintracht Braunschweig, will stay in Bavaria when the Lions travel to Kaiserslautern on Monday night.
"(The recovery) will take about a week," Löwen press officer Robert Hettich told YA. "Hopefully, he will be able to train next week, perhaps Tuesday."
"Next week, we play Monday-Friday, so we hope he's in the team next Friday against Augsburg. It's a big derby that was sold out before Christmas."
Wolff, who arrived from the Kansas City Wizards in January, has tallied a goal and an assist in his first seven German outings.
