UEFA Cup entrants Lillestrøm have turned to other offseason targets, having given up trying to negotiate a transfer fee for Kansas City Wizards star Jimmy Conrad.

The Norwegian top flighters made at least three approaches for the US defender, who MLS simply were not willing to part with at this time.

"They thought he was too valuable, and that's something we have to accept," LSK sporting director Jan Aage Fjørtoft told YA.

With the club's need for a veteran backliner immediate, the former Lillestrøm striker admitted that they have now crossed the previous #1 target off any future transfer want-list.

"This was a situation for now," insisted Fjørtoft, "So that's it."
