With AZ Alkmaar and RKC Waalwijk even at 1-1 in the first half, Altidore gave AZ the lead amazing fashion. He beat several defenders with his dribble and hit an unstoppable shot. The teams ended up playing to a 3-3 draw.

Altidore now has eight goals in seven games to lead the Eredivisie in scoring.
