There's panic on the streets of West London, alright, but it's not certainly confined to that area. With three of our best enrolled at Craven Cottage, the news that Team America fired their coach directly after "USA Day" made us all move a little in our seats.

A long season can lead to bouts of homesickness, and with so many Americans now playing professional soccer across the globe, one can almost hear heart strings plucked loudest when the boys of summer start to their work back in the States.

While the US National Team has been playing well under the guidance of interim head coach Bob Bradley, I cannot see the current group of USMNT players playing well enough in South Africa to realize the so-called "Project 2010" and US Soccer leadership needs to reorient long term goals for the program.
